Here's where you'll find the track listing for the albums that were released by the guys! Eventually, I plan on making a section with the lyrics, and hopefully some song clips. If anyone is willing to donate some let me know.

Comments:

It's tough to commit, but my favorite track on this one has got to be "Surely As The Sun". It's such a beautiful track, and almost hard to believe that they could have written such meaningful lyrics at their young ages.

"... I wanna share every moment of the day with you..."

The best song on this record, in my opinion is "Christmas Time". It perfectly describes my views on Christmas. I love the holiday, and judging from this song, penned by the boys themselves, they do to.

I realize that all of these tracks are on MMMBop, but I'm gonna pick a favorite song anyway. For this one, it has to be "Sometimes". I don't know what it is about it, but I really like this song.

"... Sometimes I get wrapped up, in what I want you to be, then I forget, just how much you mean to me..."

I think the best song on here is the previously unreleased track, "Ever Lonely". I went to a show on the albertane tour, and it just rocks live.

12. "In The City"
13. "A Song To Sing"

Comments:

I love every track on this record, but I'll have to pick just one. That would be: "In The City". I've picked this one because it has such a strong rock feel to it.

"... Do you love me, do you love me, do you love me little pretty?"

This Time Around

My favorite of all the albums has to be "This Time Around". Even though I was angry when it took them over a year to release their new studio album, I was very pleased with it. I was disappointed when the album didn't get high on the sales charts, but it didn't matter. The album is great. The songs just flow so well together. The beginning of the record on the opening with "You Never Know" is amazing, and ending with "A Song To Sing" is indescribile.

Special Song

I wanted to share with you why the song "God Only Knows" is so special to me. Well, back in May of 1999, I was in love with this guy from school. (I won't tell you his name, because someone I know might be reading this.) One day, my dad was driving me to school, and he was listening to one of his Beach Boys CD's. The song "God Only Knows" came on, and it just clicked. I immeadiately associated the song with this guy. I thought the song was absolutely amazing, full of lovely harmonies and meaningful words. It was just beautiful. Every time I heard the song, it reminded me of him. OK, now fast forward to August 2000. I'm sitting in the PickWick hotel after the Hanson concert, reading my program. Then I found it. Apparently, they like the song too. Hanson performed "God Only Knows" for the Song Writers Hall Of Fame inuction for Brian Wilson. I was in awe. It seemed strange to me that I still felt so strongly about the guy, and that the song reminded me of him so much. Though it was a bit weird, the connection was welcome. I have never heard Hanson sing "God Only Knows", but I can only hope that I will someday in the future.
